1. Welcome to Graceful Beauty
Thank you for choosing Graceful Beauty. These Terms & Conditions explain how bookings work and what to expect when you visit. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Please read them carefully before your appointment. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
2. Bookings & Appointments
All bookings are subject to review and confirmation. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from me.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you're running late, let me know as soon as possible. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to avoid delays for other clients.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at my discretion.
3. Booking Fees & Deposits
A non-refundable booking fee (a percentage of your treatment cost) is required to secure your appointment.
This fee will be deducted from your final balance on the day of your appointment.
Booking fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation, late cancellation, or no-show.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the loss of your booking fee.
No-shows (failing to attend without notice) will also result in the loss of your booking fee. Repeated no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments.
5. Payment
The remaining balance for your treatment is due at the end of your appointment.
I accept payment by bank transfer or cash.
All prices are in GBP (Β£) and include VAT where applicable.
6. Refunds
I do not offer refunds for completed services.
If you are unhappy with your treatment, please let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to resolve any concerns.
7. Consultations & Patch Tests
Some services require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. This helps me understand your needs and ensure treatments are safe and suitable for you.
Certain treatments, particularly lash and brow services, may require a patch test at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. This is for your safety and is non-negotiable.
If a patch test is required and has not been carried out, I reserve the right to refuse the treatment. Any booking fee paid will not be refunded in this instance.
Please answer all consultation questions honestly. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety and outcome of your treatment.
8. Health & Safety
Your health and safety, as well as my own, is a priority.
If you have been unwell in the last 12 hours, please let me know before attending your appointment so I can put appropriate measures in place to protect myself and other clients.
I may ask you to reschedule if you are showing signs of illness or if attending could pose a risk to others.
Please inform me of any allergies, skin conditions, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your treatment.
9. Home Salon Conduct
Graceful Beauty is based in my home salon in Chesterfield. I ask that all clients respect my home and workspace.
Please do not bring additional guests or children to appointments unless previously agreed.
The address will be provided upon booking confirmation.
10. Privacy & Your Data
Any personal information you provide is used solely for the purpose of managing your bookings and appointments.
I will not share your data with third parties and will handle all information in accordance with UK data protection laws.
11. Liability
I take every care to provide safe, high-quality treatments. However, I cannot be held responsible for any adverse reactions or outcomes where consultation forms have not been completed honestly, patch tests have been declined, or aftercare advice has not been followed.
